Jack T. L.

About the collection.

Handcrafted for audiences drawn to poetic storytelling, Jack: A Lyrical Memoir offers a modern, poignant lens on solitude and the collective experience.

Jack: A Lyrical Memoir is a poetic exploration of identity, love, and vulnerability. This debut collection captures a personal journey of self-discovery through the lens of relationships, change, and deepened connection.

Inspired by his favourite authors and poets (and the emotional depth of Romance poets), the Four Parts of Jack blend memoir with rhyme, reflecting particular moments of strength, uncertainty, and necessary courage.

The sixteen poem debut collection invites readers to find themselves coddled by a calming pace and intimate imagery.

About the poet.

Jack T. L. is a seasoned mergers and acquisitions professional, having played roles in shaping strategic investments, divestitures, and acquisitions for stewards of conglomerates at the intersection of technologies and entertainment.

With a modest background in English literature, courtesy of summer lectures at UCLA, Jack now explores his creative ability in a gap year before beginning graduate studies in business. While enthusiasm is boundless, teaching assistants and professors long ago assured him creative writing would only ever develop as a minor talent for the young writer.

Jack writes happily for his rose (and Hemingway) and enjoys following new discoveries at the forefront of astrophysics.
